DRESS CODE

• Black or Tan colored Pants - no shorts/skirts
  

• White T-shirt - an Arena work shirt will be provided
  

• Tennis Shoe or Closed Toe Shoe - no open-toed shoes are allowed
  

• Age requirement is 14+ to work the grill and 18+ to work the beer carts

The Gwinnett Arena opened on February 16, 2003.  It is the home of the Gwinnett Gladiators (the minor league hockey team for the Atlanta Thrashers).   The arena hosts many concerts and other events such as Stars on Ice and American Idol.  

The Parkview Band Boosters Association Inc., has contracted with Proof of the Pudding to provide volunteers for concession stands and a beer cart at the Gwinnett Arena.
   
An hourly rate of $7.00 is paid into the student's escrow accounts for each hour parents, students, relatives or friends work on behalf of that student.  Please see the band handbook for detailed information regarding your student's escrow account.

 Advantages to the Gwinnett Arena

• Close to Home (located at Sugarloaf Pkwy and I-85)

• Parking is FREE

• Not all events on Sundays!
  some events are on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights

• Most events take only a 5-6 hour commitment

Please make sure that your schedule is free to work when you sign up for an event.  We have had quite a few volunteers cancel recently.  Thanks to those who have volunteered to step in and help, even when not originally signed up to work.

There is a dress code to work at the Arena.  Check out the dress code in the left margin of this page.

We sometimes seek volunteers for events that we are not yet assigned.  Volunteers for the food stands must be 14 or older - no exceptions.  

Volunteers are listed in the order that they signed up.
